Dodson's partner's arm?
Did they mention what's up with that? Did I miss something? Was it in the comics? Did the actor have a real injury?
shareIt's definitely a weird detail. Maybe it was originally in the script like Angela confessing to shooting a bad guy in the beginning, maybe her partner's arm got injured during that latest stunt.
I've also heard in the commentary that originally there was a vampire / demon lady that constantine was involved with (I think it was Ellie / Michelle Monaghan and you see her in the Bar / Fire alarm scene).
So maybe it's just some curious interesting detail that makes the movie a bit more lifelike overall. The writer in the commentary was pissed about the number of rewrites, but ultimately I think it can add layers and depth to a movie.
