I love the ending, (spoilers)

I love the ending. His whole life was affected by the fact that he killed himself, and then in the end, killing him self was what saved him and the whole world. Suicide is what brought him into the strange world he was end,(even tho he was kinda already in it seeing he could see demons)but that brought him to being part of saving the world and suicide is the final action that brought him back to a more of a normal life.

I also love how it's the Satan himself that cured him of his cancer.

Same thing happens in the comics, except in that, Constantine pulls off a LEGENDARY con. He sells his soul to all THREE(yes, in this case there's 3) top demons in Hell, and they all come to collect. Then they realize they have to keep John alive, ie cure his cancer, because if he dies they have to tear hell apart in a civil war over who gets his soul. And of course, the last shot of the story is John flipping all 3 off-so happy that same shot wound up in the movie.

Him flipping the devil off as he goes to heaven is awesome. Like as if god is up there watching him come to heaven, finally glad he has somewhat changed and is finally accepted into heaven and then face palming himself when he sees him flip off the devil.

Yes, love the irony in it. Also love the fact that I think him having lung cancer has some tie to the sulfur with the demons. Like that if he didn't have the cancer he wouldn't be able to withstand the sulfur all the time or maybe he has such bad cancer and love cigarettes cuz he's around sulfur all the time. I'm not sure exactly what the tie between his cancer and the sulfur is but I like to think there is somewhat of a connection.
