I hope this gains more appreciation over the years

Very good movie with an excellent heartwarming story. Defintely one to put on when you're feeling down.

I completely agree. This was easily the greatest film of the year and nothing grinds my gears more than when people write this off as a rehash of the Danny Kaye Classic without even giving it a chance. This brings me to the conclusion that critics only offer opinions. "Neighbors" got a lot of press and decent reviews and that movie was crap. And don't get me started on that atrocious exploitation art wannabe "Spring Breakers".

I appreciate it over and over. Have watched it a dozen times over the past month. Just fantastic.

It's alright. I enjoyed it greatly the first time for what it was, and it's well made, but it's nothing amazing. On the other hand, I swear that the mountaintop scene with Penn is on a whole 'nother level ('scuse my purposefully bad English), nothing short of brilliant. I love that scene, and I love the sound of the wind. Stiller does a good job of being someone who just isn't with nature at all, and Penn is the exact opposite, plus his dialogue is just incredible.
