I Think I Might've seen It, but not sure, damn. What's the most memorable scene in the movie that no one would forget? Or throw me anything to help me remember. Spoilers OK.
I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together.
Well, it's a film in which the flashbacks have flashbacks to flashbacks. Starts in turn-of-the-century Tokyo, old man bringing small grandson to doctor's surgery at night. Then we flash back to the Shinsengumi in Kyoto, rather incorrectly uniformed in black and red, trying out new recruits.
Deep within the flashbacks there's a scene in which the hero's wife tries to drown herself in a lake.
Ends, after hero's death, with his teenage son going off to fight, leaving his little sister with his best friend; then back to the present-day we started with, and we realise that best friend is the doctor and little sister his wife.
I won't describe the battles and duel scenes because although they are well done, many films have such.
Oh, goody, Thanks:) Problem is I DO remember a Jap movie (or was it Anime) involved a Dr. in similar way or something. And so many samurai movie!!! Man I must getting old. Well I'll just watch it find out. Thanks:)
