i think this movie deserves alot of credit for beating the alamo

while 9.6 mil isnt exactly amazing, i find it HILARIOUS that it beat the alamo (which cost 107 million to make) for third place, cheers to you cedric, nobody saw this coming.

9.6 million sure doesn't compare to the original National Lampoon's Vacation's first weekend of 13.5 million 21 years ago...

another funny thing is that the truly good comedy, the girl next door, flopped the same weekend - undeservedly
