I got a big kick out of this movie. Even went back and set up my DVR to record it so I could copy to a DVD. You people who voted it down should be ashamed. You know who you are. If I say it's good, it's good, and I'm sticking to that attitude.

Cedric can be very funny but jeez didn't he even read the script first?

shareI liked it too. I liked it when Shannon Elizabeth is coming on to Cedric, which makes Vanessa jealous. Other than that, I'm not quite sure what Shannon's role in this movie was. Wasn't it briefly mentioned that she may have been related in some way to the Johnson family?

The film was on last Nite, and my mother and I enjoyed some parts of it.
I liked the brothers' music contest and thought the Car Garage scenes were hilarious!

Tip #314 on how to make a bad movie:
Have the main character give away something that he has been trying to get for the whole movie (i.e. a trophy) and then say he doesn't need it.
Cedric is a pretty consistently funny dude who I think is gonna have an interesting career in H-wood for the next few years.
Steve Harvey may have the thickest mustache I've ever seen.
I definitley remember watching this randomly with my Dad on HBO and both of us laughed out loud at this one:

I Liked The Movie, It wasnt THAT funny but it had a few good laughs in there, Plus Cedric was in there so that was a plus.
shareI liked the movie also, And Cedric is one of my favs! This movie was not trying to be a black version of Chevy Chase's Vacation movie. Black people can take a crazy road trip too! It isn't the 1st movie sense VACATION of this nature to be made, and RV was just released so it isn't the last. Enough of that already.
This movie could have used a few more slapstick parts, but it still good for giggles. And I see JFV 2 is comming out. I hope Vanessa L. Wms. playes his wife again, and I also hope that they add more funny parts. And most of all (if possible) BRING BACK UNCLE EARL!!!!
yeah I heard number 2 is coming out, hopefully it can be as good as the first, but with sequels....who knows
