A vacation from hell ... a dysfuntional family

The Johnson Family Vacation would not make my B,C,D etc. viewing list. Whatever Cedric The Entertainer or Vanessa Williams received for salary they should give most of it too charity. C.E. & VW play a married couple that's been separated for 3 mos. Williams (Dorothy Johnson) reluctantly agrees to join her estranged husband (Nate), and their three kids, on a cross country trip to the annual family reunion. The problem I have with this movie is it tries too hard to be funny.
I was hoping each character had some idiosyncracy that made them uniquely funny. NO ... NO ... NO ... all we get are five people in a car being driven by a control freak (i.e. Cedric TE). I watched the movie to the end and the only scene that made me chuckle was the jacuzzi.
Willimas is a very sexy lady and CTE was funny but neither one's performance made this movie memorable.
