Just finished watching the movie but there was one part that i didn't understand. After the car gets cemented the cop shows up and then it cuts to the johnson family being put in jail. But if you look, the cop accusing him having a crack pipe or something (where did that come from?!) and the cops shirt is all ripped up and holey. Very noticeable. I'm wondering where all of this came from

Maybe there's a deleted scene that explains it?

The pipe fell out of the bag of the female hitch hiker. As for the cop's shirt, you're right. There must have been something deleted between the time the cop stops them and we see them locked up.

Yeah, I caught the pipe falling out of the jacket from the hitch hiker but still don't know whats up with the cops shirt

Nate hit the cop with DJ's urine and it ate a hole in his shirt. I think it was in a deleted scene.

Yep. Nate made the comment that DJ drunk a lot of Pepsi, and some lemonade or something could have been in the cup already since the cop called it urinade.

Things I learned from the Johnson Family Vacation:

1. Urinade eats through cop uniforms.

2. Emergency roadside phones are sometimes placed at the top of telephone poles.

3. Devil worshiping hitch-hikers have pet aligators that are invisible during the day.

4. The talent show at Johnson family reunions is ALLWAYS the tie-breaker event.

Also, if Nate's cell phone doesn't work, (he didn't charge it) you don't try anyone else's cell phone in the car. You march off to find a far-a-way roadside phone in a cornfield. Ha Ha.

There's a deleted scene that explains the cop's ripped up shirt. Also, if u refer back to the psycho, female hitch-hiker, she's taking off her jacket just as she gets in the car and they show something falling out. That wuz the crack pipe.

I think it was whe he (Nate) threw D.J.'S urine out the window and it hit the cop.I heard that urine was hot but i didn't think it would be acid hot! The crack pipe was the hitchhiker's & she dropped it.
