Netflix pulled the Matt Lucas and David Walliams series on Friday, along with their other comedy Come Fly With Me.

The BBC and Britbox took Little Britain off on Monday. Both outlets said "times have changed" since it first aired.

Both shows include scenes where the comedians portray characters from different ethnic backgrounds.

"There's a lot of historical programming available on BBC iPlayer, which we regularly review," a BBC spokesperson said.

"Times have changed since Little Britain first aired so it is not currently available on BBC iPlayer."

This is totally disgraceful! The fight against racism is important but so is freedom of speech and the fight against censorship.

this show was never racist or offensive towards non-whites, they made non stop fun of and mocked white Brits , if anything (lower class) white Brits are the ones who should feel offended lol.

Physical media is underrated.

Oh my life! Times had changed from the 70s to 80s/90s but tv was still full of the likes of Rising Damp and Love Thy Neighbour.

People say they are racist shows, but if they actually watched an episode they would realise that it's always the black characters taking the piss out of the main white character... they were just too stupid (uneducated), to realise it. That's not racist. That's taking an old time view, turning it on it's head and making comedy out of it.

Everyone knew this. It was funny because the white character was always being made fun of.

People are way too sensitive these days.

I don't know many Asians but I know alot of black people and none of them have ever had an issue with these type of shows. We're not talking The Black & White Minsterells here 🙄.
