The IMDB forum for Little Britain seems to get more and more negative, and I can't help blaming it on the milking of the series.
Had this series stopped at series 2, I'm sure the board wouldn't be so bad...
I think it's because Little Britain is failing something no TV show can be judged on instantly: The Test of Time.
I've had all the DVD's since more or less around when they came out. Just popped it back into the player there for the first time in a couple of years and wow, I can't believe I ever found this show funny. I think the boards are only going to keep getting more harsh on the one dimensional characters and sheer reptitiveness of it all.
It had its moment in the sun, but it'll never enter the halls of greatness alongside Fawlty, or Father Ted to name but two great comedy shows. At the peak of its craze it looked like it might but certainly not now.
Its total drivel when viewed a second time. Overrated, hip, with it, comedy much like Ali G or Bo Selecta, hilarious the first time round complete sh*te the second time.
