Before this show was my favorite show "The League of Gentlemen" on the BBC. Almost seems like this show took their idea

Goodness Gracious Me is an older show that lampoons stereotypes of Indians living in England. It comprises skits with many recurring characters. I was able to find it online recently.

None of these are exactly like LB, but they're British, and better. There may be a slight bias towards shows involving Adrian Edmondson and Rick Mayall.

There's The fast show it's similar to Little Britain in that it has reccuring characters that repeat the same phrases
