Only 1.4 Million in rentals the first week?

I'm kind of surprised. It was always out when I went into Blockbuster and Hollywood video.

it made $1.68M this week total $3.1M it will defenetly make $10M+

When they say rental, do they mean just the amount it made being rented or is that dvd sales as well. I never could figure that out.
