Does anyone else think the pacing sort of makes it feel like Frank Capra

I think the pacing feels a bit like a Capra screwball comedy, only with existential elements.
Kind of like movies like Bringing Up Baby and Arsenic and Old Lace (not capra).
I thought of this the second time I saw it.
Great movie, and so underrated.

Yeah, I got a Capra vibe from it as well, especially with the good people trying to stand up to the big corporation.

Seems every path leads me to nowhere

I think screwball comedy is right on target. These are absurd characters in absurd situations but like Capra we are still meant to like these characters.
