this movie had some serious lasting effects on people my age

Just watched this for the first time in years and years, so seeing it now gives a new perspective. Is it a good movie? Certainly not. This is not something people have been watching over and over throughout the years. As a whole, it's really not even that funny. However, there are a couple bits in there are still stuck in the minds of my generation.

First and foremost, "Scotty doesn't know" will NEVER leave us. If there's one thing this movie did, it was give us this song.
The Italian guy on the train's line "scuzi, mi scuzi" is something I still hear to this day.

It's interesting how a mostly forgettable movie as outrageous as this was at trying to cash in on the American Pie wave (and obviously Road Trip) gave us two little nuggets that will carry with a certain age group for so long.

True. I saw this movie once, back in the mid-2000s, yet I can still vividly recall those scenes.

Road trip and euro trip were the coolest sex comedies I watched back in college. I still vividly several things, my being agape most of the time seeing so much nudity, being one of them ;-)
