I remember in 2004 when this was getting a tiny bit of promotion, and I was just flipping out in excitement.
....how the hell did 6 years pass where I didn't have a SINGLE thought of this movie, and didn't see a SINGLE reference to it on the internet? 6 years!

And then just two days ago it popped into my head, and I downloaded it. The cinematography seems fairly well done and from what I've watched it looks like it deserves a higher score on here.

The Hurt Locker: the most overrated piece of garbage in cinematic history.

I used to love King and had a large collection of his book, paperbacks and hardcovers. I stopped liking him after Needful Things. He just seemed to not have any good stories left in him anymore. Plus, I found it weird that he was so coked out on some of his early stuff I liked that he says he cant remember writing them.

But I still liked the book of Salem's Lot. Havent read it in years, but I read it three times in my life, and my read it again soon enough.

However, I didint like this movie. It wasnt that good, it was kind of bland. It wasnt horrible, it was just forgetable. You said yourself it just popped into your head. How many time have you thought about this movie in the last 6 years?

I find too many movies, both theater and tv films, are made passionless. Once directors and writers made movies they cared about, they invested some heart into. Sure, they still got paid, even did some stuff just to pay rent and get a new car. But personally I think movie making is too much like a McDonalds. Every week a highly marketed piece of crap movie, and after you've paid to see it it doesnt matter because the next movie is out.
