So what other Hellraiser is the character of Adam in?

Just saw this, no it wasn't good but now I want to see more of the recent Hellraiser movies, having been a fan of the early ones. Is this a 'sequel' of sorts to a previous Hellraiser?

Not really. All of the characters are new and the only connection to previous installments (other than the puzzle box and Cenobites) is a passing reference to a character from Bloodlines.

I recommend Inferno of the more recent Hellraiser movies. But it seems that everyone has their own preferences with the newer ones, so you should probably check them all out.

None. This wasn't even meant to be a Hellraiser film and has zero connections besides the presence of Pinhead, the box, and the cenobites
