I would have told cop on cell phone

In order to prove to the cop I was in the room and he couldn't he see me, I would have told him to do stuff and I'd have told him what he was doing. "You're waving your arm around. You took your hat off, bow you put it back on." That kind of thing

She was never really talking to the officer, so it wouldn't have made a difference really

I thought she was talking to him (from her coffin) but, of course she couldn't see him, only a hallucination of him. Unlikely her hallucination would have the same movements as the real cop.
