Season 2 in Australia + DVD Release

Well, while trawling through the internet yesterday trying to find out some information when Season 2 will be shown in Australia, I came across a site called UK Screen (http://www.ukscreen.com/). They had a very nice option to contact any of the people listed on there, so I took a chance and contacted one of the Assistant Directors from the show to see if they could enlighten me on a few things.

First and foremost, Season 2 of Mile High has been picked up by an Australian network for broadcast. Sadly, he wouldn't say who.

As for a DVD release, you'll be as disapointed as I to find out that there are still not plans for the show to be released onto DVD, as far as this AD was aware.

Will try to probe some of the aussie networks to see who has picked up the show.

Have received a response from Ch. 7, and they have said they do not have the rights.

Anyone with contacts with any of the other commercial networks who can ask the question, please do.

Greeting's the names Alexander of Manchester UK i spoke to a lady at Hewland international a few months ago she assured me that the hole show would be released on disc provided we the viewers proved that there was is enough demand for it i've heard of this petition that's been don havent been able to find any trace of it as of yet to join in. best advice is to keep telephoneing hewland internatioal write to them so on keep thinking of ways to pester them. the lady who did not give a name was of course delighted to recieve such good feed back. i told her straight that they'ed be crazy not to release the show on disc and of course they must keep the show going plus bring some of the original cast back. fingers crossed people.
