I really wanted to love it…

And love it I did!!

I was trying to find this movie for the past 10 years at least! Finally! Thank you oh glorious Tubi!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You know, when your expectations are sky high, you can often be disappointed. Well, this DID NOT disappoint! I fell under its charm within the first 10 minutes and had a blast with it throughout. I loved the settings, the cast (I’m a fan of Song Kang-ho and he truly shines here) and I laughed a lot too. Like, a lot! I think I can pull out the big word and say: this IS a MASTERPIECE. Now I remember why I got so caught up in a South Korean phase for about 2 years but I steered away from their cinema and after what must be a 5 year hiatus, I really think it’s time for me to get back to them. I do have a few DVDs to watch and I think I’ll order some more. I love their movies with a passion. My rating: 9.5/10
