ending scene - description

I've seen this movie with portuguese subtitles, and when the little girl describes the killer, the translation had no sense at all. What are the words (in english) she uses to describe him?
From the English subtitles from the UK DVD, she describes him as "Sort of plain", and when asked in what way, she replies, "Just ...ordinary".
shareDo you think that made an impact on him, that the guy was just ordinary, or was it because he was described as handsome by the scarred face guy and now described as something else again? Idk.

The scarred face guy said he looked handsome because since ordinary looking people aren't horribly disfigured by facial scars, any ordinary-looking person is handsome to him.
