Whats the metaphor?
I know in the first one the werewolf theme was a symbol for puberty and all the hormones, growing up, ect.
but i'm not to clear on what the metaphor is on this one, or if it even has one

Drug addiction.
Everybody's havin fun, dancin with a loaded gun...
I agree. Definitely drug addiction and the mental health paradigm. Many people who do drugs do not like who they are or where they are in life and use drugs to escape or hide that aspect of their personalities. Those who seek help in facilities are often in denial, have done so many drugs that they have permanently altered their brains and believe their delusions, or are forced to get help. B's fixation on timing her healing, isolating to protect the lives of others, and animal urges all just appear to be self harm, homicidal ideation, and impulse control to mental health professionals. All in all the beast inside of her is very similar to the beast psychiatriac inpatients deal with and attempt to "take control" of.
