HELP ME PLEEEAASSEE!!!

ok, so i finally got this game..i've been doing purty good. but now, as mulder AND scully i am stuck at the same part: where you are in the shelter and mulder tells everyone to evacuate. i dunno what to do!!!
i consulted a walkthrough and it told me that i needed night vision goggles...but i CANT FIND THEM!!!! please help!!!

In case you're still playing it, they're on a chair by the doorway in the next room from where the men are. I had a little trouble finding them at first too.
