Was Liors Character Bi?
There was that joke of him being "half homo" and there seemed to be alot of homoerotic tension. Did anyone think that the character was like a closeted bi guy or something?

(A.) perhaps that was his cover to get close to him...?
(B.) or he found him attractive & interesting
BLAH
i may have missunderstood what he meant, but i first saw this movie at a film festival in DC and Mr Fox was there so people were able to ask questions about the film, and it was my impression that the whole bit about Eyal seeming like he may have been bi or gay followed a story that Mr. Fox had heard about a man who was heterosexual, and then felt that he was homosexual and had a homosexual relaiton ship with another man, and then felt that he was again heterosexual. And this atually happened to my cousin- she was married, then divorced and for years lived and i think may have even had a civil union with antoher woman and now she is married again so yea- that was they way it sounded to me. But besides that i think that Eyal was more confused as to what kind of person he was after his wife so i think that added to it.
shareWell, it's a truism that the more homophobic somebody is, the more likely it is that he is himself a closeted (or perhaps just conflicted) homosexual (or bisexual). On the other hand, there doesn't seem to be any direct hint of bixexuality in the movie: whatever is going on in the camping scene by the Dead Sea is just Eyal trying to pump Axel for information.

Well I am so glad, I am not the only one who thought the tacked on Hetero ending sucked. It would have been much more of an important movie had the ending stayed on track as a coming out story as well as a spy thriller/crime drama. So the consensus is that yes, his character was bi or gay, closeted and falling in love?

SO obviously that was somewhat at least transferred to the movie, so I guess the answer is yes, despite the poor tacked on ending.
