I just watched (by coincidence) half of the movie and liked it. So I looked in the internet to find out more about it. One of the first things that came up was a very interesting article about the actress playing the housekeeper.
She is actually an active holocaust denier, or lets say she is very active in telling everyone who wants to hear it, that everything wasn't that bad and that the Germans were the victims....
On her homepage she states that her hobby is recent German history – how ironic!
I mean it is bad enough that she still got jobs at theatres in Germany but why would anybody choose her for this movie? I really do not understand.
For me that's a bitter aftertaste....
