Renée Zellweger was excellent in this movie.

I seem to be in the minority but I think this was probably her best role and she played it well. I don't think anyone else could have played the part of Mae Braddock noticeably better or with half as much charm as Zellweger did. It didn't hurt that she and Crowe had good chemistry too.

She did a great job in this movie. I think she was even better in Jerry Maguire. But, it doesn't really matter now that she's fcked everything up with her new face.
