I liked it, but MASSIVE plot hole

In the beginning when the sheriff gives Vaughn a ride home, he hands him a flyer and says, "Election is this month, I'm your man". Well, wouldn't you know within that month Vaughn managed to be severely beaten, left for dead, with his chest and torso carved up. Yet he managed to get back to his feet (we dont know how long it took). He then later visits the Sheriff to press charges, the Sheriff says, "this wouldnt be about that incident at the casino a while back would it?"...a while back implying alot of time has passed. Well, on top of that statement, you have all the other events of the movie take place, Vaughn ends up going to a trial eventually for his crime, then before you know it he becomes the new sheriff of the town.

Soo, we're to believe ALL these events transpired within a month time frame in time for Vaughn to win the election?

Poor writing job, all the Sheriff had to say in the beginning was, "Election's coming up in a few months", or "later this year", and they would've easily eliminated that issue. Sounds like a script that was thrown together by a 12-yr old.

Never noticed, but it's a very valid point.

The whole movie is a plot hole.

You can't just walk into a casino and beat the *beep* out of people, than be found not guilty by a jury trial 2 days later. If you ignore a judges instructions like he did repeatedly, the judge would declare a mistrial

Or about that there were only 2 *beep* cops in the whole town, focusing on the casino people. What if someone needed them while they disassembling that truck for fun? I'm surprised crime didn't go through the roof

They also coulda added another 20 minutes or so to the movie..it was very rushed and short....TNT shows it twice in 3 hours with comercials. And to the people (silv)with the "get a life" comments..why? Whats wrong with speaking on stuff you watch. It takes a few minutes out of a 24 hours day to do it so l'm quite sure these folks do have lives. But you took the time to come and read so what does that say about you?

Eh, ignore him. Him and posters like him, who have no substance or intelligence, are best ignored.

The movie did seem very short, and I think that was what hurt it a lot. They tried to cram too much action into an ultra short movie
