Buford wasn't the real facts about Buford, so does Chris really exist or what.

Poetic license, updating the plot, whatever you want to call it. Personally, I would have preferred to see a modern take on the real-life hero Buford Pusser rather than "The Scorpion King Does Tennessee".

Personally I can't see the Rock being called Buford. Maybe that's just me.
