Weird look between Ray and Jay in the courthouse

Didn't anyone see that wierd look between Ray and Jay when they are in the courtroom? Ray looks and Jay (Knoxville) and he nods his head then they both smile? I'm not saying there was some sort of secret pact that Jay was on his side at the start but it's damn weird. And I only came to this since before this happens the laywer for The Rock looks back at Ray and seems to no doubt tell they are in cohoots and thats why the rock fires him.

But anyway if you didn't notice this just go back and watch the courtroom scene over again and come back and tell what you think cause it's pretty interesting.

Dark Knight is the worst movie ever. The villain died before it even came out.

Well I just saw the movie and I thought at first that Knoxville was on 'Hamiltons' payroll or something.

I noticed that right away. I dont understand that part either.

my guess is that it was an original subplot that got dropped from the film.

Really? No, Ray wasnt working for Jay, and it wasnt a hard scene to miss
unless someone dropped their popcorn box and bent over to pick it up. Since they were in court and couldnt shout 'F#ck you' to each other, they gave sarcastic friendly greetings.

It's like later when Chris pulls jay over and breaks his taillight. When Chris drives off Jay gives a little smile and wave. He isnt really waving bye happily, it's down sarcastically. Chris' lawyer was working for Jay, and maybe the judge, but not Ray. Otherwise Ray wouldnt have defended the family at the end.
