I remember the bad guys tortured him and hurt him badly at the casino but it didn't show it. What exactly did they do him. At court he showed his marks but he didn't say what happened to him. Just courious...
Just saw the movie and all, but the guys at the casino slashed him. Cutting him and all with either a knife or switchblade or something of the sorts. The cuts you see on his torso is from that.
The object they used to cut him with was a box cutter: a razor blade inside a knife-handle. They can be purchased in any hardware store, but aren't allowed on airplanes!!! However, the torture scene looked like it had a purpose, like they were either taking something out or putting something back in surgery style. The marks on his chest just looked like random slashing. I didn't really get that.
i work in a grocery store, and belive me, i've seen a few of the guys i work with cut themselves no problem with a box cutter...one to the point of almost losing his thumb, and needing surgery...so, the marks chris gets, with the force dude was doing it...not a problem, especially if it's a fresh blade.
I thought it was gonna be more serious. When they picked up his tag necklace thing an then started cutting i thought they were gonna put it in him...altough the cuts are well bad i thought he would have been worse
I'm constantly amazed that people who've apparently seen a movie will ask such bizarre questions about events which are clearly depicted in the movie. Are you kidding? Did you fall asleep or leave the theatre or something?
There are usually alternate releases where the most graphically violent scenes are cut out and you really DON'T see what happened, so I think the question is quite legitimate.
yeah but why? what was the purpose of cutting him up? i still dont get it, if i was one of the security guards, i would only like punch him/rough him up a bit, not slice him up like im on a ginsu knife commercial.
They cut him up and then through him out on a road. A scene later the doctor says something along the lines of " a lesser man would not have survived".
A conclusion is the place where you got tired of thinking.
