did anyone else notice gender stereotypes in this movie?
alex is the alpha male, he's the "lead" "the big wheel"
while gloria has sexual tendiences, but is also the mother type which makes her "the playmate."
does anyone else have any other ideas?

I actually never really thought about it. But I suppose you could also mention the gender stereotypes between the different types of animals. For example, Alex is a lion, which is a "masculine" animal. I don't know if a hippo would be consider a feminine animal, though ...
