Is this appropriate for a two year old?

I picked this movie up on black friday hoping it would be a good one for my child to watch. I probably should have read the reviews first. Is this appropriate for a two year old? Obviously, if it's not, I won't be giving it for Christmas. Thanks for your help in advance.

Well it's rated PG, but I doubt a 2 year old would understand any of the references or humour. The child would enjoy the colour and the animals, but may be frightened in some scenes .. see link.

I don't see why the kid wouldn't enjoy it. It's not going to warp him or anything :)

I have to agree. A two year old isn't gonna understand the humor in it because it's rated PG. I wouldn't let the language effect your kid.

Not sure what you finally decided, but my 2 year old son loves it and really just enjoys the animals and the dancing and singing.
