Enjoyed it more than the 2nd one.

Just watched both back to back (on blu ray) and i enjoyed the first one alot more (while the 2nd was still good) The humor was alot better in the first one and in the 2nd one i kinda cringed at some jokes.

And visually i thought the first one beats the 2nd one as well. Africa looked amazing, but it doesn't compare to the first shot of Madagascar(in the movie, not the movie itself, when Julian says "Welcome to Madagascar")

Also i enjoyed the score ALOT more in the first one. In the 2nd i didnt care for Will i Am's input. I sat through the whole credits of the first one just to hear Hans Zimmer's amazing score, whereas in the 2nd one, i took it off after the updated "I Like to Move It"(much preferred Sacha Baron Cohen's version)

Anyway, thats my opinion

Also, yes ive seen both of these seperately awhile ago, but i never watched them back to back before

From now on I shall stand for the opposite of killing. "Gnodab"

I agree. I liked both, but the first one was far superior. It flowed more naturally and had an interesting story (Alex realizing he's a carnivore). The second movie was okay but at times it seemed like they were trying too hard.
