Yep; I gotta agree with you on this one.

Oceans 11 was great; so was 13. Both pure entertainment. But 12 was just ridiculous. ESPECIALLY that part with Tess portraying Julia Roberts because "she really looks like her". I mean really? How stupid was that? Embarrassing to watch.

Add to this the implausible relationship between Rusty and the Zeta-Jones character.... Just a little too much... too far. I had to re-watch it because of loose ends, and more implausible plot lines.

I will agree with your "3" rating.

DUDE yes thank you totallllly agree. couldn't STAND it. it annoyed me it was so bad and convoluted and boring in the middle. the best part was the end... showing how fox dude got through, and then them ending up screwing him over. finally had a tiny bit of that feeling the first one gives you. but even how they did it still didnt make as much sense and was difficult to understand/believe. the rest was garbage. LOVED the first one, like the 3rd. 2cd one wtf were they thinking? i was hoping it would kind of turn into this like... benedict threatens therm and they team up with the french guy to do another huge heist somewhere cool. and somehow screw over benedict again. anything but the trash they wrote!!

I remember when I saw this on the cinema when it went. It was so bad the that I cringed through the whole thing.

It was nothing more than a displaycase for a bunch of Hollywood actor.
So unbelievably stupid.

Ya know the first half is pretty entertaining actually. When they're being rounded up and discussing what the plan will be, it's not bad. The second half however is just awful and drags the whole thing down. Too many twists, with flashbacks during flashbacks, celebrity cameos that have nothing to do with anything, a dumb subplot involving Zeta Jones that was useless, a laser dance sequence, and plenty of footage that could have been cut out.

Oceans 11 & 13 are solid. This is the middle child that should be rightfully forgotten...

It's bad because the movie makes no sense. At the end, you find out they stole the egg while it was in transit to the museum. They had already won the bet.

So what the heck was all the junk they were doing after that? They didn't have to do any of it.

man this was so bad. i remembered it as medicre but i couldn't even watch it the second time. i had to FF through the entire julia roberts thing.

I watched 11 the other day with my gf and last night we watched 12 and I couldn't stand it at all!! I had such a hard time paying attention to it due to how confusing and ridiculous it was.

It also dragged on so much, pointless dialog all over the place.

11 was interesting due to robbing a casino. 12 seems like a forced heist on something pointless. I really don't want to watch 13 now despite everyone saying that it's better.
