usually in costume dramas they show you an epiloge (george became the duke of kent and was shot down by the germans during the second world war etc) but they didn't do that here does anyone know what happened to Lalla, and George?

I saw this beautiful story recently and wanted to learn more about it. I have heard that Lalla loved Johnny so much that after he died she never got over his death.
