To me, it wasn't even THAT. They basically gave Gilbreth and Carey credit for the TITLE. The only thing the same was that there were 12 children. The Gilbreth parents (in the original) were REAL people who were pioneers in their field of industrial engineering (and Dr. Lillian Moller Gilbreth was the first industrial/organizational psychologist.) To me, they should have just called this movie something different. It could have really been a good movie if they had stuck with the real story (even if it was likely embellished a bit).
