Episode 4 questions(all related to Andy Cramed)
-I don’t get at all the Andy Cramed storyline in this episode (I understand he is sick with smallpox) but...What does he refer with the phrase "You lost your friend in a fire"(or "You lost your friend in a fire?" given that I also didn’t get if it was an affirmative or interrogative quote) to Cy Tolliver. It really seemed like an out of context phrase. I don’t know what fire/friend does he refer.
-What does Andy refer with "Let’s get something working".He mentions that a couple of times in the episode but he doesn’t mention anything more about it because he inmediately feels sick, but I feel he was planning something when he arrived to Bella Union.
-When Tolliver sent one of his men to bring the Doc to check on Andy...why did he said " Tell him, someone fell". I really felt like he was trying to lie to the Doc about the real cause of Andy’s condition, but it is also really strange because Tolliver doesn’t know by this point about the smallpox disease in Andy,so....what is the point of lying to the Doc about a false fall?I mean,Doc was going to discover the disease sooner or later anyways,so...what is Tolliver point in lying like that to Doc?
-My last question is related to the last one: when Doc is checking on Andy, with Tolliver and Joanie in the same room, Tolliver said to Joanie (referring to Andy’s condition): "who said he fell? ".HE WAS THE ONE THAT TRIED TO ESTABLISH THAT FAKE FALL MOMENTS BEFORE!. In fact, Joanie expression seems really upset when Cy mentions this, like she is trying to contain herself to say something about that.
Thanks a lot to anyone who could help me to understand better this!
