Is this show a good Binge Worthy? I'm looking for a new show and this looks good. I loved the sopranos, the shield, breaking bad and true detective. The Wire was very good and will come back for season 4 soon. Letting it sink in. So is this show interesting enough to grab attentions. I want a really gripping story Other recommendations would be appertiated too.
shareI personally think this is one of the best shows ever made. Not sure if its great for binging though. It's a slow burn. The writing and the dialogue however are some of the best I've ever seen. So maybe. You might just miss some things if you power through it. I've watched the series at least six times.
shareJust finished my binge with "Justified". Six seasons of totally amazing story. If you like Timothy Olyphant, this is the series for you. It's the reason I'm starting on "Deadwood".

Very binge worthy. You dont need to be into westerns, yet, without a skipping a beat id say its the best western cinema known too man. I watched and loved all those shows you mentioned and this one ranks higher than most some of those for me. Very brutal and vulgar Every other word is a f bomb and it still sounds like shakespere. All the characters are so well acted its simply amazing.
A couple others to throw at you that are very binge worthy. Dexter, six feet under, sons of anarchy.

shareYes. This is absolutely one of the very best shows I have seen. It stands up to multiple viewings, with more gems revealed over time. The writing and acting are exceptionally fine.
shareIt's good binge material, but, the dialogue is very dense and very purple in some places. It verges on Shakespearean. Certain major and minor characters will do a 'house of cards' and do extended monologues or unrealistic expositions which can fly by fast.
So while it is binge worthy, you need to actually listen to all the dialogue, and pay attention when a major character hangs themselves. Nonchalantly. In the background of another scene they are not part of. And it is not referenced explicitly after the fact?
It's a very coarse show. Lots of violence, sex, and swearing. If you have a significant other or family member that can't stomach something like 'The Shield' than this may be too much.
I'm binging it right now and I'd say yes. Much easier to follow when you can watch one episode after another than having to wait a week for each installment.
