What does 'parp' mean?
Did it have meaning in that time period?
Or just an annoying and mocking of Cornish language?
I was never sure if they are speaking Gaelic or what. Its not listed as an insult, slang or swear word in either language.

The only reference I find is a description of a horn (trumpet) sound and a few other noises of similar ilk. share
