one thing i just cant understand, is that the murders etc. were clearly filmed, i mean she watched like 5 seconds of one murder, so i can only assume that the sherriff was on the tapes as well at some point, he says at the end, that they had so much fun with the girls down there blah blah. so obvioulsy the cops and or FBI took the videos and reviewed them right away, wouldnt they have seen the sherriff and arrested him?..

they probably didn't review them right away and he was the sheriff so he gets notified about it before they tell the fbi and so forth and so on. so he probably snatched up the videos that included him. that last video looks like dougy went solo.

That is a good question. The sheriff should have been in that video some where unless he was the one filming the video.
