One of the greatest hits I've ever seen

Mostly because Halle really showed her acting in this one. Fear is a trait most actors have trouble with. It is hard to show fear spontaneously.
Her heavy breathing and constantly twitching eyes, and the screaming is actually REAL.
Most people couldn't handle the plot twist ending. They wanted a simple horror flick. Gothika takes you on a ride and *beep* with your psyche until the very end.
I've seen it three times.
