1) the name..i dont know if its been asked before... but why is it called gothika .. how does it tie in with the movie ? ... GOTHIKA ISINT EVEN A REAL WORD... sheesh.

& 2) How the hell did penelope cruz get outta the institution ? .. she was like.. let out because halle berry was.. i know she was geting raped in there.. but it has nothing to do with her killing her stepfather.. the reason she was in there in the first place.

gothika - situation in which someone sees or feels things that others can't. Those who can't feel or see those things think those who can are crazy or schitzophrenic, but they're not. they are telling the truth. just listen to them... there's a difference in their stories. there's a difference in their feelings

...because Penelope Cruz kept getting raped in there!! Bloody hell, she could've sued the whole system, maybe they cut a (well deserved) deal
