So a co-worker's daughter 'commits suicide'...

...and not only do you not know that, you don't even know he had a daughter?

If you were paying attention the crazy dude at the end explains that... Her and her dead husband met AFTER all that went down. Then they started up again.

I thought so too. Maybe she hadn't started working there yet when it happend (4 years ago) but you still think she would have heard about it maybe from colleagues.

reply

Well I would think that colleagues wouldn't discuss other colleagues dead daughters..

Good question, was thinkin the same thing, and i believe its a plot hole. Even if co-workers dont talk about dead children, i bet her cheif husband would have known and told Miranda about in confidence, so if this movie would be "realistic" she should have known. *beep* movie with alot of plot holes...

reply

Her husband would've told her?! Don't you think that might've been a slightly touchy subject for him? Not a plot hole, FFS.

Not a co-worker, an administrator, and not a close friend.

It's not surprising that a person in the mental health field would not advertise a daughters "suicide" to his subordinates. It is a private thing.
