What if they have a child they want to take? Or if their faith gets in the way of seeing movies of this content. We know it's hard for middle schoolers, but please, shut your mouth.

Some movies are rated "R" for language, for violence, for 'adult situations' (which could mean anything from an abusive relationship to actual softcore sex scenes)... Reasons that don't necessarily include and aren't limited to sex... So an "R" rating doesn't mean much if the only thing you are worried about is sex.

When I was younger I lived with my aunt and her family, who are mormon, and had to follow their rules... And no, we couldn't watch any R rated movies that included sex. Violence and language were okay (especially if we were watching an edited for tv version at home) but no sex.

based on the trailers alone, I'd expect a number of sex or sexual scenes...

Unlike the others, I'm actually intelligent enough to ask... Are you wanting to know because you want prior warning for some reason, or because you are a perv? *grin* Good either way.

*blinkyblink* Me, i'm in the perv category, I saw the trailer and all I thought of it was "HOT! MUST SEE!" :)

yes, strong sexuality. I've seen it. There is also some violence which is more upsetting if you ask me. Sex is a part of life, I hope violence isn't for most of us. But it is rated R for a reason.

These days it has to be something quite serious to get that rating since most studios want all the little kiddies to go and see their crappy garbage a million times.

It's a compelling picture. If it gets a wider release it may make Marton Csokas a star. He absolutely steals the picture. He should be nominated for an Academy Award, but being a relative unknown in the US will probably work against him.

I should probably add, before someone asks me, they do all of the things that people who have sex in real life do, so use your imagination.

Hi, it's me, and no, I'm not a perv, I just wanted to know because moral reasons, and because my mother is not fond of sex in movies.

i'm with lzvzz7: yes, it was strong sexuality, but i, too, thought the violence was more upsetting than the sex.

Totally agree sebastiansmurf.....the violence was far more to worry about than the sex scenes....when he first attacks Stella and punches her in the face....COMPLETELY SHOCKING.

Yes, this movie has strong sexual scenes (adulterous), as well as a pervasive atmosphere of erotic obsession. I definitely would *not* take a middle-schooler.
