When she was first dancing with Edgar, did he get an erection? Because she seemed to stop, look down and had this uncomfortable look on her face. Also what exactly did he do to his wife?

Yes & I believe he chopped up his wife into bits. (But I could be wrong about that, I haven't read the book in a while.)
