I do not understand how this film didn't get more nominations..

It's quite brilliant. Natasha Richardson does a fine job, as does the rest of the cast.

I agree. Asylum is one of my favorite films. I just finished reading the novel. If you enjoyed the film and you also enjoy reading, I highly recommend it. There are a few differences in the novel, of course...but also it is a beautifully-tragic page turner.

I absolutely LOVE Natasha Richardson in this. She was such a lovely actress. So sad that she is gone.

I know! and May is her birthday month, too. So sad.

I just watched Asylum again and I still stick with my original post! Natasha should have gotten a nomination for a Golden Globe award, or SAG, Oscar.... etc. Damn.
