Rated R?

So my girlfriend just called me. She just got her DVD in the mail for The Cat Returns to watch with her son. But, she said that the back of the box says "Rated R for Drug Use and Language". There is no way, this is a misprint, right?

Hi

There is no bad language (or even mild language)

I know some people don't like Japanese, but that would be taking it a bit far LOL
and certainly no drug use!

There are several mentions of catnip, which is a pretty heady drug (well, if you're a cat)

Did you ever notice that people who believe in creationism look really un-evolved?

It says G on American DVDs. That's the official rating on the Disney website. There's no bad words, unless the Japanese subtitles are literal. And there's definitely no Drug Use!

Drug use could mean cat nip couldnt it?

This could well be the best signature ever

You'd have to be pretty stoned to try to use catnip as a drug.

English Language Anime: Dub it, don't pervert it.

Sounds to me like a pirated dvd.

Weird, I've got a legit copy from Hong Kong and it's rated I (Suitable for all).

Maybe it was Fritz the Cat Returns

The Cat Returns would hardly be G rated (it's incredibly tame). Not one of Ghibli's better movies but still pretty good.
