Ronaldo Moon!
I love it when there's english names in japanese spoken movies.
It's kind of hard to tell when or if sarcasm is used. However, to set the record straight, the "Moon" bit springs forth from the original comic by Hiiragi Aoi. In the original story (Whisper of the Heart, not the Cat Returns), Seiji and his older brother (!) owned two black cats. One was named "Luna" and the other "Moon." "Muta" was an affectation of the movie which appeared in Hiiragi Aoi's comic sequel "Baron: the Cat Baron" which became the "Neko no Ongaeshi" movie. Renaldo Moon was a name in the Ongaeshi comic, so the movie had little to do with it. If that sounds a bit confusing and convoluted, it is.
