Photography question

In the Ultimate Cut, during Aristotle's scenes, you can see in his neck his skin looks burned, like if the negative was damaged, why is that?

reply

I heard reports that Colin Farrell insisted on tanning his neck every day to get a period-authentic neck look. He constantly hassled Stone and the cinematographer with questions like: "Is my neck dark enough?" and: "Why does my neck look like a polar bear's?!" To his credit, the neck team did a really good job.

reply

It's Aristotle's neck that looks like that.

Look, I'm not saying that Colin Farrell's neck obsession didn't carry over to other actors, but you've seen the results for yourself...
