After searching everywhere for this, I ended up finding it for $19 at JB HI-FI Parramatta! Ah I'm so happy!

Yes! Ha, it's such a beautiful movie.
I first watched it near the end of last year..and it truly captivated me.
There should be more copies available at JB-Hi-fi
Ezy-dvd also sells it but online!

Glad you found your copy of this sublime masterpiece ... along with Kurosawa's "Ran", it's my favourite film.

RAN! I had to watch that for school last year haha. I really like 47 Ronin, I think it was made in the 1940's but they re-released it in the 60's because it clashed with Japan's invasion of Pearl Harbor..

I liked 47 Ronin Too ... I know "Ran" is slow, but it is so beautiful and the slow burn to finale is worth a little patience.
