Nice list; I'd probably agree with five or six of those -- A Very Long Engagement, Ghost World, American Splendor, Eternal Sunshine, and, of course, Amelie. Top film of the decade for me is either Amelie or Yi Yi.
Besides some of yours, others that might make my list could include some of the following: George Washington, The Motorcycle Diaries, Donnie Darko, 21 Grams, The Station Agent, Amores Perros, In America, Maria Full of Grace, City of God, The Agronomist ...
I have never heard of Yi Yi, but if it is equal to the likes of Amelie then I must seek it out immediately!
